Architectural Fit-Out Engineer

Job Description

The Architectural Fit-Out Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah. This position is responsible for overseeing architectural fit-out works from design coordination through execution, ensuring alignment with project specifications, quality standards, and local regulations. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing drawings and material submittals, coordinating with architects, consultants, and contractors, managing site inspections, and resolving technical issues related to interior finishes and fit-out details. The role involves monitoring progress against project plans, supporting cost and time control, and ensuring safe construction practices. The engineer will also collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver functional, aesthetically aligned, and sustainable fit-out solutions.

Requirements

• Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural fit-out and finishing works.
• Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
• Strong background in Architecture with proven experience in interior fit-out design and detailing.
• Competence in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of fit-out activities.
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and Construction processes relevant to building and interior works.
• Demonstrated Teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional project stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or architectural engineering. Civil Engineering graduates are not eligible for this position.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and sustainable design practices.
• Proficiency in design and coordination tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project or similar) and strong technical reporting skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Jeddah and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
