Urgent Recruitment – Commercial / Contract Engineer
Company: SEPCOIII (PowerChina)
Project: Nairyah 1,800 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant
Location: Nairyah, Saudi Arabia
Salary: To be discussed based on experience and interview performance
Duration: Long Term
Responsibilities
Conduct market research and price analysis for materials, labor, subcontracting services, and other project-related costs.
Manage RFQs, quotation comparisons, commercial negotiations, contract price analysis, and cost estimation.
Handle commercial aspects of contracts, including price adjustments, variations, site instructions/approvals, claims, contractual liabilities, payment terms, and final settlement.
Lead the preparation, review, negotiation, and execution of project contracts.
Prepare and analyze target costs, budgeted costs, and actual project costs.
Conduct cost estimation based on construction drawings, BOQ, contract terms, and prevailing market prices.
Compare actual costs with budget and target costs, identify cost variances, and analyze their underlying causes.

Requirements

• Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid experience in EPC projects, commercial management, contract management, or cost control.
• Good knowledge of BOQ, cost estimation, subcontracting, and contract administration.
• Strong English communication and negotiation skills.
• Saudi Arabia / GCC project experience is preferred.
