Job Description
We are looking for an experienced HSE / Safety Officer to support health, safety, and environmental requirements within a hospital/healthcare project.
Key Responsibilities
Implementing the project HSE plan
Conducting risk assessments and managing permit-to-work procedures
Conducting toolbox talks and safety inductions
Performing site inspections
Conducting incident investigations
Coordinating fire-safety activities and emergency drills
Preparing and maintaining HSE statistics and reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Safety / Engineering
- NEBOSH IGC or OSHA 30 certification – Mandatory
- 3 years of experience
- Experience in HSE within hospitals or healthcare facilities
- Experience working in occupied clinical areas
- Knowledge of
- Infection-Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) for maintenance works
- Hazardous / medical waste
- Fire safety and emergency procedures
- NFPA 101 Life Safety
- CBAHI / JCI Environment of Care requirements
