Q/S ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – MEP (HIGH RISE PROJECTS)
Maramer Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Q/S Electrical Engineer to join our team for MEP works in our high-rise projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical and commercial knowledge in electrical systems within MEP works, with proven experience in quantity surveying and cost control for large-scale high-rise building projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Quantity Surveying: Prepare and manage BOQs, take-offs, and cost estimates for electrical works within MEP packages in high-rise projects.

Cost Control: Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow; identify cost risks and value engineering opportunities.

Measurement & Valuation: Prepare interim and final valuations, variations, and claims in accordance with contract terms.

Technical Coordination: Coordinate with design, site, and procurement teams to ensure accurate measurement and cost allocation for electrical systems within MEP works (power, lighting, low current, ELV, BMS, etc.).

Subcontractor Management: Review subcontractor submissions, measurements, and invoices related to electrical works.

Reporting: Prepare regular cost reports, forecasts, and quantity surveying documentation for project management.

Compliance: Ensure all commercial activities comply with company procedures and relevant standards.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in quantity surveying for MEP works, with a focus on electrical works in high-rise building projects.
• Project Experience: Proven experience in large-scale high-rise projects from mobilization through completion and handover.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems as part of MEP works, including power distribution, lighting, low current systems, ELV, BMS, and related services.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in relevant QS and estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy, Excel, etc.).
• Regional Experience: Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC is preferred.
• Communication: Excellent English communication, reporting, and negotiation skills.
