Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia
Role Description
KEEN Contracting is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Safety Officer within the construction, building, and industrial contracting sectors in Saudi Arabia, with strong knowledge of MODON regulations, Aramco safety standards, Loss Prevention requirements, and industrial projects.
Certifications: Valid and recognized HSE certifications, such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA 30-Hour, and First Aid & CPR.
Core Safety Competencies & Technical Skills
Comprehensive expertise in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and reviewing contractor method statements.
In-depth knowledge of heavy equipment operations, crane lifting safety plans, scaffolding integrity inspections, and strict enforcement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
Experience in emergency response preparedness, fire safety systems, daily toolbox talks, and HSE awareness inductions.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, site observation, and problem-solving skills.
Languages: Arabic and English is required.
