Career Opportunity | Safety Officer | Makkah and Al-Kharj A job opportunity is available as a Safety Officer to work in locations in Makkah and Al-Kharj, to attract qualified professionals with practical experience in occupational safety, health and risk management in the energy sector, with the ability to apply safety procedures and enhance compliance with approved regulations and standards, ensuring a safe work environment and reducing operational risks. ◾ Job Title: Safety Officer Work Locations: Arafat – Makkah | Al-Kharj – Riyadh Region Qualifications and prerequisites ◾ Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in safety engineering or a related discipline. ◾ Obtain one of the following professional certifications: NEBOSH | IOSH | ISO 45001 ◾ Previous work experience in the energy sector (prerequisite). ◾ Good knowledge of occupational safety, health, and risk management systems and standards. ◾ Familiarity with safety procedures at project sites and high-risk operational activities. ◾ Ability to carry out inspections, risk assessments, and professional reporting. ◾ Familiarity with the procedures for work permits and energy safe insulation (LOTO) is preferred. ◾ Good communication and coordination skills with technical and operational teams. ◾ Ability to follow corrective actions and ensure adherence to safety instructions. ◾ Accuracy, attention to detail, ability to work in the field, and take responsibility.
